Whatnot is seeking an iOS Engineer for the App Platform team to build reliable foundations used across iOS, Android and web. You will own core components, the design system, and ensure stable networking and persistence layers while partnering with product teams to deliver high‑quality features.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proficiency in Swift with solid understanding of iOS fundamentals and SwiftUI-driven UI architecture.
Proven track record delivering user-facing features quickly and reliably.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain core components and the design system for the App Platform.
Strengthen networking and persistence layers and drive app stability and crash reduction.
Partner with product teams to ensure the right, efficient way to build is also the easiest way.
Support cross‑team efforts to scale apps across iOS, Android and web.
