Job summary

SideShift in New York City is seeking an iOS Engineer to own features end-to-end for an app used by over 1M creators. You'll work directly with founders, product, design, and backend engineers to shape mobile architecture and user experience.

Location is in-person in NYC, compensation ranges between $130,000 and $180,000 plus equity. You will turn ideas into shipped product with ownership and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Experience with MVVM or similar architectures.
• Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C.
• Experience with REST APIs and asynchronous data.
• Comfort in a fast-moving startup.
• Strong product instincts and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality iOS features using Swift.
• Define and evolve iOS architecture.
• Create fast, native UX and polished interfaces.
• Debug production issues and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with founders, design, and backend engineers.
• Own features from idea to launch and iteration.
