Current is a leading consumer fintech platform based in NYC, focused on transforming financial access for millions of Americans. We seek an iOS engineer to join our small, high-ownership team in New York.
The role involves shipping native apps (Swift/UIKit), collaborating with product and backend teams, and growing craft in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and shipping native iOS applications, is self-motivated, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
Qualifications
- Proficient in Swift and native iOS development.
- Hands-on experience shipping iOS apps on the App Store.
- Strong understanding of UIKit and memory management.
- Familiarity with modular architecture patterns and MVC/Coordinator.
- Experience with code reviews and collaboration on architecture decisions.
Responsibilities
- Ship end-to-end iOS features with an ownership mindset.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams in New York.
- Own features from design handoff through launch, with senior guidance.
- Contribute to scalable mobile frameworks and improve engineering velocity.
- Participate in code and architecture reviews to uphold quality.
