Job summary

Compass is seeking an iOS engineer in the New York area to help build a mobile platform for home buyers and sellers. You will collaborate with product and design teams to scope features, deliver components, and ship apps to the App Store with best-in-class quality.

You will work with engineers to push platform improvements, participate in design reviews, and contribute to a high standard of engineering excellence. Compensation includes base pay, bonuses, RSUs, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional iOS development using Swift and shipping apps to the App Store.
• Familiar with modern Swift development practices (SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency).
• Exposure to reactive programming frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a startup-like environment building agile products and services.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and design to launch projects.
• Implement solutions with attention to technical trade-offs and best practices.
• Perform code reviews, contribute to design reviews, and write high-quality tests.
• Create clear documentation and maintainable code with strong operational rigor.
