Compass is seeking an iOS engineer in New York to help build our mobile platform for home buyers and sellers. You will partner with product and design to scope features, implement high-quality code, and ship to the App Store with modern Swift practices.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, contribute to architecture, and uphold rigorous code quality and testing standards while maintaining operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years professional iOS development with Swift and shipping apps to the App Store.
• Experience with SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
• Experience integrating with RESTful backend services.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build features in a startup-like environment.
• Collaborate with product/design and engineers to launch projects solving real-world problems.
• Work independently delivering features with guidance while navigating technical trade-offs.
• Perform code reviews, participate in design reviews, and write tests.
