Tech Talent South is seeking an Instructor for an iOS Development course in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves leading course material instruction, mentoring students, and preparing educational materials. Candidates should have experience in iOS SDK, Xcode, and Swift, along with strong communication skills necessary for teaching beginners.
This is a 6-week commitment from March 13 to April 19, 2018, with classes held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the ability to foster an inviting learning environment.
As an instructor, you are responsible for the student experience in and out of the classroom. These responsibilities specifically lie in the realm of instruction as it pertains to the curriculum set forth by Tech Talent South.
In this course you'll start from the ground up with the iOS SDK, Xcode, and Swift (Apple's new programming language). The iOS course covers the development and best practices for building, testing, debugging, and deploying iOS apps. Learn about what Apple brings to the table and how you'll work with the tools they provide! By the end of the course you'll understand core concepts and how they work together in your apps like Model-View-Controller (MVC), segues and navigation, APIs, and much more! This course will cover the “do’s and don'ts” of iOS mobile development, methods for connecting the UI to your code, and tips for making responsive layouts that display correctly on different screen sizes.
