Job summary

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle seeks an Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) Specialist to support surgeons and anesthesiologists during complex procedures in the operating room.

The role requires completing an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist training program and at least two years of ENG testing experience; on-call duties and per diem, rotating shifts are included. Training and research participation encouraged.

Qualifications

• Accredited ENG technologist program completed.
• Two years of lab ENG testing experience or equivalent.
• Willingness to perform on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop, record and analyze complex ENG responses in the operating room.
• Apply various biopotential electrodes for testing during neurosurgical procedures.
• Record activity with montages; document parameters and observations.
• Identify issues, troubleshoot and resolve intraoperative problems.
• Perform charge Technologist duties and assist in training and research.
