Job summary

IntraNerve Neuroscience is seeking a qualified Neurophysiologist to join our Akron OR teams. You will perform preoperative assessments, set up and calibrate IONM equipment, and provide real-time intraoperative monitoring across SSEPs, MEPs, EMG, EEG, BAEPs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia, accurate post-operative reporting, and on-call coverage. CNIM certification and ABRET eligibility are required, with 2+ years of IONM preferred.

Qualifications

• Active CNIM certification and ABRET-defined bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with IONM equipment and ability to analyze data across multiple modalities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with surgeons and OR staff.
• Ability to work in an operating room environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• 2+ years of IONM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative patient assessments and planning with surgical team.
• Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot neuromonitoring equipment for procedures.
• Provide real-time intraoperative monitoring across SSEPs, MEPs, EMG, EEG, BAEPs.
• Analyze waveforms and communicate findings to interpreting physician and team.
• Complete post-operative technical reports, IONM logs, and billing documentation.
• Maintain equipment and participate in on-call rotation.
