Zusammenfassung

IntraNerve Neuroscience LLC seeks an experienced IONM Professional, Neurophysiologist (DABNM), to provide intraoperative monitoring during routine and complex neurosurgical cases. You will support surgeons and anesthesia teams with real-time data and clinical decisions.

You will collaborate with IONM Technologists and remote physicians, maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation, and mentor other staff while developing your expertise in a learning-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• DABNM preferred; required within first 2 years of hire.
• 5+ years advanced experience in IONM.
• Active CNIM certification is required.
• PhD or MD in related field per ABNM eligibility/requirements.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, and aseptic techniques.
• Proficiency with IONM equipment and multi-modality data analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with surgeons and OR staff.

Aufgaben

• Perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) for surgical procedures, including patient prep, electrode placement, equipment setup, signal acquisition, and real-time monitoring.
• Evaluate IONM data, detect significant changes, troubleshoot factors, and communicate findings to teams.
• Collaborate with IONM Technologists and remote interpreting physicians for accurate interpretation and clinical response.
• Maintain real-time communication with surgeons, anesthesiologists, IONM Technologists, and OR staff during procedures.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain IONM equipment per protocols.
• Document monitoring activities, observations, and case data with HIPAA compliance and timely reports.
• Provide education, mentoring, and clinical guidance to care team members.
• Participate in QA, audits, research, CE activities and professional development.
• Maintain relationships with surgeons, hospitals, customers, and internal teams; contribute to initiatives.
• Adapt to variable schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
