Axcelis Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Beverly, Massachusetts. This role focuses on testing hardware and software of Ion Implanter products. You will work within a team to develop test case matrices and perform validation of systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to recognize equipment malfunction and provide detailed reports.
• Knowledge of High-Voltage & High Current Power Supplies and High Vacuum Systems.
• Programming skills in C, C++, C#, and Unix.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and design in a team environment.
• Develop and validate test case matrices covering hardware and software requirements.
• Operate Ion Implant equipment for hardware and software validation.
• Document issues in a Defect Tracking system.
