We are inviting applications for the role of Invoice to Cash - Assistant Manager – Danish - Remote EMEA.
Role Description
The Analyst, S&T Back-Office Settlement, is primarily responsible for ensuring that S&T invoices are processed and sent in a timely and accurate manner according to customer invoicing agreements and country regulations (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland), following the S&T Back Office Settlement process.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all monthly invoices and reports are processed and sent to customers promptly as per contractual terms using internal systems.
- Reconcile all grid invoices and pass-through costs.
- Transmit cash instructions to the Finance team (AP/AR).
- Liaise with counterparties and internal teams such as Front Office, Contracts, Middle Office & Collections to resolve settlement discrepancies.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team on revenue recognition.
- Reconcile payable and receivable accounts against bank statements and follow up with customers and suppliers.
- Handle customer and supplier inquiries, communicating effectively with the business.
- Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, investigating and resolving discrepancies while managing client expectations and potential exposure.
- Interact with Traders and middle office to understand the trade lifecycle and associated cash flows.
- Maintain shared outlook mailbox, responding timely with accurate information to external and internal customers.
- File and label contractual correspondence and emails following documentation retention policies.
- Assist with providing information related to SOX controls during audits.
- Communicate efficiently with business partners, team members, and management.
- Knowledge of electricity markets is an advantage.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
MBA/PGDBM/B. Com (Finance/Accounting)
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work independently without significant supervision
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and internal departments
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience in Commodities Settlement (preferable)
- International experience (preferable)
- Fluency in Dutch and English (verbal and written); Finnish is an advantage
