Key responsibilities

  • This individual will have a primary responsibility for supporting all aspects of financial information provision to both existing investors and prospective investors.
  • This individual will serve as a conduit between the firm’s Investor Relation team and finance team.
  • This individual will have proven heritage in a funds finance team and as such be able to directly interrogate financial records of the firm to extract financial information for investors and be confident and capable to undertake analysis to provide complete responses.
  • Support Investor Relations team with financial information preparation and communication as part of any ongoing marketing and fundraising cycle from fund concept, PPM preparation, launch, “road show” presentations, marketing, LP diligence and closing of investor capital commitments as required.
  • Be comfortable leveraging investment activity and valuations across all funds, including capital calls, distributions, quarterly valuations, etc. to create bespoke investor presentations/responses to information requests.
  • The individual will be a confident communicator who is able to interface directly with the Investor Relations team, finance team, senior leadership of the firm and investors.
  • Providing guidance to finance team members as required to collaboratively accomplish deliverables.
  • Supporting coinvestment syndication processes.
  • Preparing bespoke fund performance analyses that do not otherwise exist.
  • Assist in enveloping and prepare annual and quarterly reports, LP conference materials, pitch books, performance memos etc. as required.
  • Completing limited partner due diligence requests and handle investor queries.
  • Drafting presentations and memorandums for senior management as required.
  • Supporting broader finance and Investor Relations teams in dealing with new product development, existing clients and prospective investors.
  • Other ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
  • Degree or professional qualifications in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Chartered Accountant preferred but not essential.
  • 5-7 years of related experience including substantial time at in house funds accounting team
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, handle multiple projects
  • Highly motivated and intelligent with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A desire to work in a team environment, often under pressure
  • Results oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and independently with team members across the globe
