Job summary

Sage Search Partners seeks an Investor Reporting Analyst for its San Antonio corporate finance team, supporting quarterly and ad hoc investor reporting, validating and explaining data rather than assembling templates.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in accounting or fund reporting, advanced Excel, and strong variance investigation and data troubleshooting skills. Power BI or SQL and CPA candidacy are considered pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years in accounting, fund accounting, audit, investor reporting, or financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem solving ability, variance investigation and data troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Real estate private equity or real assets experience preferred.
• Power BI or SQL a plus.
• CPA or CPA candidacy a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate unexpected variances and troubleshoot the underlying data issues.
• Validate, analyze, and explain financial and operational data across the funds.
• Produce quarterly investor reports in Workiva alongside Portfolio Management, Asset Management, Accounting, and third party fund administrators.
• Maintain fund and investor data in Juniper Square.
• Answer questions raised throughout the reporting process and keep reporting accurate, complete, and on time.
• Support supplemental reporting requests from investors and the consultant base.
• Support finance related technology and reporting initiatives.
