Job summary

Spruceview Capital Partners LLC seeks a Fund Accounting Analyst to support post-investment activities, reporting, and client solutions teams while maintaining strong client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

The role covers understanding investments, preparing monthly and quarterly investor reports, coordinating capital calls, and liaising with Addepar and third-party managers. Collaboration across departments is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6-8 years’ experience in business/finance.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP investment company financial statements; IFRS a plus.
• Prior experience in fund accounting preferred.
• Audit experience within financial services, private equity, or other alternative investment environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand our portfolio of investments, their strategies and activity for our clients.
• Perform financial forecasting, performance and financial reporting and operational metrics tracking.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and any ad hoc reports for investors.
• Monitor and review cash transactions.
• Coordinate and initiate capital call and distribution events.
• Serve as a key point of contact for our investment management technology platform, Addepar.
• Contact third-party investment managers for important partnership correspondence.
• Manage relationships with our fund administrator, banks and related service providers.
• Review financial statements and capital account statements.
• Manage schedule for all filing deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with procedural and reporting standards.
• Lead annual audits and tax engagements, including K-1 and PFIC requirements.
• Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis.
• Other projects as needed.
