Job summary

Cloudflare is looking for an Associate, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to join a lean IR team and support quarterly earnings, financial modeling, and investor events. The role involves working directly with CFO, CEO, and the Board, with exposure to public markets and a fast-paced tech environment.

You will help with consensus modeling, share-count forecasts, and strategic finance projects while leveraging AI-native tools to improve speed, accuracy, and insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or equity investing.
• Exposure to public technology companies is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to build operating and consensus models.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, governance, and public company reporting.
• Excellent written communication for executives and investors.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end quarterly earnings process, draft press releases and investor materials.
• Build and maintain the consensus model and compare to internal forecasts.
• Assist with guidance processes including share count forecasting and dilution analyses.
• Coordinate post-earnings analyst callbacks and investor inquiries.
• Plan and run investor events, including investor Day and one-on-ones.
• Prepare briefing materials for executives and maintain IR collateral.
