Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking an Associate, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to join our lean IR team and drive quarterly earnings cycles, modeling, investor events, and strategic finance projects. You will prepare materials for leadership and engage with analysts and investors, delivering a clear financial story.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Communications, and FP&A, leveraging AI-native tooling to boost speed, accuracy, and insight.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or equity investing.
• Strong financial modeling skills including operating models and dilution forecasts.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, public‑company reporting, and valuation.
• Strong written communication skills for executives and simple narratives.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proactive ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end quarterly earnings process, draft press releases, investor deck, and Q&A prep.
• Build and maintain consensus model; analyze sell-side estimates against internal forecasts.
• Support guidance with share count forecasting and sensitivity analyses.
• Drive accuracy across press releases, scripts, 10‑Q and 10‑K disclosures.
• Plan and run investor events, including Investor Day, and manage investor relations materials.
