Job summary

Local Asset Management is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to own the firm’s investor communications and support audit and SEC compliance across funds and vehicles. You will be a key contact for partners, handling quarterly statements, distributions, and deal announcements.

The role requires exceptional writing and verbal skills to translate complex CRE data into clear reports, while leveraging AI and technology to improve reporting workflows. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in investor relations, fund reporting, or fund administration, ideally within CRE or private funds.
• Familiarity with SEC compliance, Form ADV or Form D filings, or fund audit support.
• AppFolio or investor relations platforms preferred.
• Experience building or maintaining dashboards and reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for partners regarding K-1s, portal access, distributions, and document location.
• Produce quarterly reporting by aggregating asset-level data into fund-level models and writing performance updates.
• Coordinate partner distributions, including running calculations and processing bulk distributions.
• Assist with capital raises by preparing investor decks and marketing materials and coordinating diligence questions.
• Manage partner onboarding and compliance through subscription processes and investor platform setup.
• Create investment memos by pulling comps and synthesizing due diligence findings.
• Prepare acquisition and sale communications for firm assets.
• Draft and coordinate LinkedIn posts and other marketing content.
