Illumen Capital in Oakland, California, is seeking a Head of Investor Relations & Capital Formation to lead fundraising strategy, deepen relationships with existing LPs, and expand Illumen’s institutional investor base. This full-time role requires travel (~50%) to meet investors and attend conferences.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will originate and close commitments, translate Illumen's research-backed approach into a compelling investor narrative, and build systems to scale toward

• Significant experience in institutional fundraising and investor relations.
• Proven ability to originate relationships and close commitments.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.
• Experience across private and public market fundraising is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute a comprehensive capital formation strategy toward $1B AUM.
• Originate, qualify, cultivate, and close commitments from institutional investors and others.
• Lead investors through the fundraising journey from first meetings to subscriptions.
• Maintain strong LP relationships and coordinate cross-strategy engagement.
• Provide market intelligence to inform fundraising priorities and product development.
