Job summary

Generate is seeking an Investor Relations Analyst in San Francisco to support operational and analytical work across shareholder reporting, cap table management, investor data, and ESG processes. You will work closely with the Investor Relations Head and Senior Director, partnering with Finance, Legal, Accounting, Investments, and Strategy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of finance experience in investment management, bank, or corporate finance.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial data.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication across teams and with investors.
• Interest in AI/automation to improve workflows.
• Familiarity with ESG/investor relations concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain investor portal and shareholder access; coordinate ad hoc requests.
• Coordinate annual audit confirmations and support due diligence with internal teams.
• Prepare quarterly shareholder reporting with Finance and Accounting and help prepare investor calls materials.
• Contribute to projects across investor relations and capital formation; improve data quality with AI/automation.
• Maintain cap table and reconcile with share records in Global Shares; record issuances/transfers.
• Develop familiarity with Generate's ESG processes and prepare investor reports.
• Coordinate investor transfers and voting events with Legal and external counsel.
• Maintain reporting calendars and ensure timely delivery under shareholder agreements.
• Plan and execute the annual Investor Day and manage invitations/logistics.
• Assist in calls/meetings with shareholders and fundraising due diligence.
