Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing partners with a leading NYC asset management firm to hire a Client Service Associate for its private wealth platform. The role focuses on onboarding, managing the transfer agent, preparing client reports, and addressing investor inquiries.

You will collaborate with Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Legal, and Compliance to ensure accurate records, timely transactions, and superior service across the investor lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in client services, investor services, fund operations, transfer agency, or fund administration.
• Experience in asset management, private equity, hedge fund, or private credit is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries and provide timely, professional responses.
• Oversee the firm's third-party transfer agent to ensure investor transactions are processed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate onboarding of new investors, including tracking subscription documents and AML/KYC requirements.
• Prepare and distribute quarterly and ad hoc client reports, account statements, and investor communications.
• Work closely with Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and external service providers to support investor needs.
• Maintain accurate investor records and assist with account updates and transfers.
• Monitor service providers and help resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Assist with fund launches, reporting initiatives, and process improvement projects.
• Ensure a high level of service is provided throughout the investor lifecycle.
