Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Investor Relations Analyst to support communications collateral, earnings materials, and corporate presentations. You will help manage IR websites and social content, while coordinating with sell-side analysts and institutional investors.

The role requires strong communication, financial modeling, and multitasking abilities. A biotech/IR background is preferred, with hybrid office presence in RTP, NC.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or sciences.
  • 2+ years relevant experience (biotech, capital markets, investor relations, FP&A, communications, or securities analysis) with a Bachelor’s, or 0+ years with a Master’s.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills; intellectual curiosity; continuous learning mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and navigate ambiguous information with guidance.
  • Solid working knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation and enhancement of communications collateral (quarterly earnings materials, press releases, corporate presentations, FAQs, product/pipeline fact sheets).
  • Maintain and improve investor relations and pipeline websites; support IR social media content.
  • Participate in sell-side analyst interactions; collect/maintain analyst models for consensus data.
  • Monitor sell-side research and track peer performance; help plan and execute investor conferences/events/non-deal roadshows.
  • Schedule investor calls/meetings; support meetings with institutional investors; work with external vendors to target new institutional investors.
  • Support outreach programs and benchmark against peers.
  • Prepare background for internal spokespeople; monitor industry/competitor newsflow.
  • Maintain/update the Investor Relations Quarterly Report; track stock performance/valuation vs. peers.
  • Maintain IR CRM; support external corporate communication strategies; evaluate/improve IR processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree.
  • 1+ year public company investor relations/sell-side/biotech operational experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Global/Ipreo, and Workiva.
