Job summary

WS Development seeks a polished, highly organized professional to own our internal controls and compliance program end to end. You will coordinate inputs across departments, manage complex, deadline-driven workstreams, and produce clear, credible work for external audiences.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CFO, you will have visibility with senior executives, institutional investors, and the full compliance and controls landscape of a leading commercial real estate firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant professional experience (consulting, project/program management, operations, finance, or a similar structured environment).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Strong project management skills.
• High attention to detail and structured, evidence-based work where accuracy matters.

Responsibilities

• Run program-like ownership: scope, timeline, and stakeholder coordination from start to finish.
• Coordinate annual internal controls testing with external audit partner and track remediation.
• Support and ensure execution of user access reviews and SOC report reviews.
• Maintain and improve the control environment with documentation and narratives.
• Administer access governance for key financial systems.
• Lead institutional investor audits, due diligence questionnaires, and ongoing reporting obligations across JV partners.
