Job summary

WS Development seeks a sharp, organized communicator to own our internal controls and compliance program end to end. You’ll sit at the center of controls, audit, and JV compliance, reporting to the CFO’s Chief of Staff and engaging senior executives and institutional investors.

As a program leader, you’ll manage scope, timelines, and cross‑functional inputs, drafting clear responses for auditors, and driving scalable, compliant processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5–7 years in consulting, PM, operations, or finance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for investors/auditors.
• Strong project management; multi-workstream delivery under deadlines.
• High attention to detail with evidence-based decision making.
• Experience in internal controls, audit, or real estate compliance is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead program with scope, timeline, and stakeholder coordination from start to finish.
• Draft precise, audience-appropriate narratives for investors and auditors.
• Represent the firm professionally in interactions with investors and external auditors.
• Build repeatable frameworks and templates for compliance workflows.
• Champion AI tools to improve drafting, research, and workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate annual internal controls testing and remediation tracking.
• Support user access reviews and SOC report reviews for third‑party providers.
• Maintain and improve control environment, calendars, and narratives.
• Lead investor audits, due diligence questionnaires, and JV compliance filings.
