Job summary

Sterling Group, a family-owned real estate investment services firm, is seeking motivated interns to join our Midwest operations. You will support deal evaluation, market research, and financial analysis across multifamily housing and self-storage projects, working alongside 375 colleagues and executives.

This internship aims to apply classroom knowledge to real-world practices, build underwriting and modeling skills, and develop professional rigor, accountability, and integrity, with mentorship

Responsibilities

• Assist in deal sourcing and market research for potential investments.
• Support deal underwriting and financial modeling for multifamily and self-storage projects.
• Help prepare financial statements and investment analyses for internal review.
• Contribute to due diligence processes and investment strategy discussions.
• Present deal findings to the Sterling Investments team and participate in deal presentations.

PURPOSE

To introduce and develop applicable real estate investment skills, while providing analytical support to Sterling Investments, creating an enriching experience that is mutually rewarding to the intern and Sterling.
