Job summary

Vanguard in Malvern, PA is seeking a detail-oriented finance operations professional to serve as a primary liaison among portfolio managers, traders, and internal partners. You will lead daily portfolio administration, analyze data inputs, model impacts, and help identify data and trade readiness risks requiring action or control improvements.

You will support data maintenance across systems, develop dashboards and management reports, and contribute to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in the Financial Services industry or related experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners.
• Strong attention to detail with risk management emphasis.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in financial markets and investment management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between portfolio managers, traders, relationship managers, custodians, and internal partners.
• Lead daily ad-hoc portfolio administration and operational activities.
• Analyze and reconcile investment and portfolio data inputs, modeling impacts and risks.
• Identify data exceptions and operational issues, proposing corrective actions.
• Support maintenance, delivery, and validation of portfolio data across systems.
• Develop dashboards and management information, and contribute to SOPs.
• Participate in onboarding of new portfolios and market events.
