Job summary

Ares Management invites undergraduates to apply for its 2027 Summer Internship Program. Interns will engage in due diligence, financial modeling, market research and investment analysis across multiple deal teams.

Eligible candidates are pursuing finance, business administration, or economics degrees, with strong academic records, excellent communication, and a willingness to learn. The program spans a 10-week period with opportunities across several U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student, ideally majoring in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Strong academic record and campus involvement.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Novice to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and initiative.
• Looking to complete a 10-week summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute the due diligence process.
• Collaborate with deal teams and other groups within the firm.
• Build and update integrated financial models in Excel and other tools.
• Develop investment recommendations and prepare investment committee memos.
• Conduct market research on industry trends and investment opportunities.
• Interface with portfolio companies, management teams and external partners.
• Support deal structuring, underwriting and closing activities across industries.
