Job summary

Ares Management invites undergraduates to its 2027 Summer Internship Program in support of multiple deal teams across the firm. Interns will build financial models, conduct market research, and assist in due diligence for potential investments during a 10-week period.

Eligible students should be pursuing finance/business/economics and demonstrate strong academics, communication, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• Anticipated graduation date between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Undergraduate student, finance/business/economics preferred.
• Track record of academic excellence and campus involvement.
• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, eager to learn.
• Novice to intermediate Excel skills; able to build models.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and research-driven approach.
• Available for a 10-week summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Support due diligence processes and investment analysis.
• Collaborate with deal teams and prepare memos.
• Build and update integrated financial models in Excel.
• Develop investment recommendations and market research.
• Assist with industry research, trends, and opportunities.
• Coordinate with portfolio companies and external partners.
• Support fund-level reporting and deal structuring tasks.
