Job summary

The Hartford Funds offers a Student Intern position within the Investment Consulting Group, supporting asset gathering, client service, and content delivery across Hartford Funds’ product lineup. You will work with Investment, Sales, Compliance and Marketing teams to enhance research output and client-facing materials.

You will gain exposure to performance measurement, asset allocation, and product lifecycle discussions while contributing to distribution initiatives and data analytics efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in college as a Business/Finance/Economics major.
• Experience with MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
• Strong ability to multi-task and handle several projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Mutual Funds and exchange-traded funds preferred.
• Interest in Financial Markets.
• Strong desire to learn with professional drive.
• Willing to take on new projects and lend a hand to the team where needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize FactSet, YCharts and Morningstar to develop reports for investment professionals and sales.
• Participate in department meetings around due diligence, research topics and data analytics.
• Develop HEART (Hartford Enhanced Analytics and Risk Tool) for distribution to financial professionals regarding portfolio construction.
• Partner with Compliance, Marketing and Sales on distribution initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
