Job summary

Empower is seeking a Nonqualified Investment Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day financial transactions for a defined book of business. You will collaborate with internal teams and external parties to process COLI, nonqualified plans, and mutual funds, applying advanced Excel skills to build models and support accurate client service.

The role requires 3+ years in investment operations, a life insurance license or ability to obtain within 120 days, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in investment operations or related field.
• State Life Insurance license or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/rebalancing models.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 registrations; ability to obtain fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Process asset and liability rebalancing transactions per client directives.
• Prepare and maintain asset and liability reporting.
• Serve as day-to-day client contact for COLI and split-dollar insurance.
• Complete daily service deliverables and operational activities.
• Administer complex Excel rebalancing and premium-listing models.
• Use Metrix and nonqualified administration systems to support servicing.
• Escalate requests outside the service agreement as needed.
• Provide updates in client team meetings and communicate expectations.
• Perform quality-control reviews and analyze issues within authority.
