Job summary

CMC Recruiting's client seeks an Investment & Insurance Operations Associate to support day-to-day execution of investment and insurance operations, ensuring accurate handling of client accounts and cases with urgency.

The role requires detail orientation, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with custodians, carriers, and advisors to maintain seamless workflows and superior client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, wealth management, or investment operations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• CRM systems and operational platforms experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage investment and insurance new business from submission through completion.
• Prepare and submit account paperwork with a high level of accuracy.
• Process account openings, transfers, rollovers, contributions, withdrawals, and other client transactions.
• Track cases across custodians and internal systems to ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with custodians, carriers, and internal team members throughout the process.
• Process insurance applications from underwriting through policy delivery.
• Coordinate medical exams and gather underwriting requirements.
• Monitor case progress and proactively follow up on outstanding items.
• Support ongoing policy servicing including beneficiary updates, loans, payments, and policy changes.
• Serve as a point of contact for operational and service-related client requests.
• Communicate professionally with clients, advisors, and external partners.
• Support advisors by preparing materials and ensuring operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate CRM and operational records; keep workflows organized.
• Identify inefficiencies and help improve operational processes.
• Assist in building scalable systems to support growth.
