This is a senior role within the team, with responsibility for leading the investment operations and performance reporting functions, overseeing day to day delivery and driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and reporting.

About our client
Reporting directly to senior management, the investment operations & performance reporting managerwill oversee investment administration, cash management and operational processes, while leading the delivery of high quality investment reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The role will be instrumental in safeguarding investment data integrity, ensuring the efficient execution of investment operations and providing accurate, timely insights to support investment decision making. Alongside this, the successful candidate will manage a team and work closely with senior investment professionals, finance colleagues and external service providers to maintain effective processes and continually enhance reporting capabilities. What the job involves

• Oversee investment administration, including commitments, cash flows, capital calls, distributions, valuations, fund documentation and notices
• Manage liquidity, cash management, trading and settlement processes, coordinating with trustee administrators and custodians
• Lead daily investment performance, valuation and asset allocation reporting, alongside periodic client and advisory committee reports
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of investment data across core systems and external datasets, including benchmarks and security and position level data
• Drive reporting projects and continuous improvements to systems, processes and reporting capabilities
• Manage relationships with key service providers, including Canoe, BlackRock Insight and eFront FAIR, and support oversight of core investment systems
• Coordinate client and regulatory reporting, legal information requests and investment accounting data, ensuring accurate financial reporting
• Oversee investment manager fee verification and annual reporting, maintain operational controls and risk documentation, and support operational due diligence
• Lead and develop a team of three investment reporting and operations analysts, setting objectives and overseeing delivery
• Build strong relationships across senior investment, finance, legal and operational teams, as well as external service providers, promoting collaboration across investment operations, reporting and accounting

Who we are looking for

• Experience in investment performance and reporting within a multi asset class portfolio, witha strong understanding of IRR and TWR methodologies
• Experience managing an Investment Book of Record (IBOR) or comparable investment administration system, alongside fund administration across multiple asset classes, including private funds
• Strong cash and treasury management experience, with exposure to banks, custodians, investment managers and fund administrators
• Excellent numerical, analytical and data management skills, with advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience managing and developing team members, setting objectives and overseeing delivery
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior investment professionals and external partners
• A proactive, organised and detail oriented approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• High levels of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as accountancy, CFA, CAIA or investment reporting qualifications, would be advantageous
