Job summary

CMC Recruiting places an Investment Operations Manager in a growing Kansas wealth management firm. Lead day-to-day investment operations, oversee onboarding, asset transfers, and trading, and build scalable processes to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with advisors, maintain dashboards, and drive operational improvements while ensuring compliance and timely responses to client requests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in investment operations or related role.
• Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65 equivalent) required.
• Strong trading, account management, and ops knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
• Clear, professional communication and high ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage day-to-day investment operations across the firm.
• Oversee onboarding, asset movement, trading, and ongoing maintenance.
• Create and refine processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Identify workflow gaps and implement solutions.
• Ensure activities align with standards and compliance requirements.
• Partner with advisors to execute investment strategies and client service needs.
• Oversee client onboarding for a smooth, high-quality experience.
• Prepare investment materials for client meetings.
• Escalate complex operational or client issues as needed.
• Ensure timely handling of client investment requests.
• Monitor trades for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain reconciliations and documentation quality.
• Develop dashboards and operational metrics with leadership.
• Collaborate across advisors, operations, and admin teams.
• Drive deadlines, deliverables, and workflow accountability.
