Job summary

The Investment Operations Intern role provides hands-on support for trade verification, cash management, corporate actions, reporting, and data analysis while exposing you to multiple business areas.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and pursuing an undergrad in Finance or Economics, with a GPA of 3.0+.

Qualifications

• Current junior (Dec 2027 or May 2028) pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance or Economics.
• GPA 3.0+ requirement.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work full time during the summer.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for equity, fixed income, derivatives, private equity, and investment strategy transactions, ensuring accurate trade verification, affirmation, and settlement.
• Reconcile trades, positions, and cash balances across asset classes; monitor discrepancies and escalate as needed.
• Maintain investment data in internal systems and portfolio accounting platforms; support updates from operational processes.
• Process corporate actions, income collections, variation margins, collateral, and settlements; ensure proper handling and reconciliation.
• Communicate time-sensitive information to portfolio managers, traders, brokers, custodians, fund accountants, and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with brokers, custodians, and vendors to maintain strong relationships and resolve issues.
• Contribute to onboarding new accounts and custodial setups; support process documentation and improvements.
• Generate and distribute investment-related reports and dashboards; assist audits and internal reviews.
