Job summary

Thrivent Financial in Minneapolis, MN seeks an Associate Investment Operations Analyst Intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on exposure to the investment trade lifecycle, including trade support, cash management, corporate actions and data analysis.

The 12-week internship offers development, coaching, and opportunities to work with portfolio managers, traders, custodians and internal teams on operational processes and reporting.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and analytical with strong communication
• Experience or coursework in finance/economics preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for investment operations, including trade verification and settlement
• Reconcile trades, positions and cash across asset classes and report discrepancies
• Assist with onboarding accounts, documentation and process improvements
• Generate investment-related reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
