Job summary

Northwestern Mutual-Twin Cities is seeking an FPS Associate to support Financial Representative teams by processing investment paperwork and performing analysis tasks for clients.

The role includes completing paperwork, inputting client data in planning software, creating Investment Policy Statements, and providing Morningstar reports, with opportunities to develop licensing and certifications through on-the-job experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of industry experience preferred.
• Willing to obtain SIE, Series 6 and 63 Registrations.

Responsibilities

• Complete, submit, and track new account investment paperwork
• Interpret and input client information into financial planning software
• Complete trade tickets for submission to Operations department
• Assist with service-related tasks for client investment accounts
• Assign tasks to team members as tasks are requested
• Create Investment Policy Statements for investment advisory accounts using Envestnet
• Provide Morningstar reports for client portfolios
• Tackle any other service and operational tasks that surface with help from teammates
