UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS FOUNDATION seeks an Investment Operations Analyst to support the investment team managing a multi-asset class portfolio. You will ensure accurate data, maintain policies, and leverage technology to optimize operations.

The role requires a finance/economics/related degree and 2–5 years of progressive experience, with strong analytical and Excel skills. The position offers a hybrid schedule with up to two remote days and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of progressive experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Process-oriented and able to manage simultaneous projects.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and adeptness at learning new software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Enter transactions and valuations in the internal investment portfolio system and initiate trades in the custodian’s order management system.
• Reconcile discrepancies between the internal system, custodian, and investment manager.
• Prepare performance reporting and analytics for internal and external constituents.
• Maintain an internal database of investment documents from investment managers.
• Monitor liquidity and fee terms; prepare cash flow projections and analyses.
• Process subscription and redemption documents and respond to KYC/AML requests.
• Respond to surveys regarding asset allocation, fees, and performance.
• Assist with operational due diligence on new and existing investments.
• Assist with annual audit requests.
