Job summary

The Investment Operations Analyst at Symetra Financial Corporation will support day-to-day investment operations for portfolio managers, traders, and reporting teams in a hybrid work setting. You will process trades, ensure data integrity, and handle corporate actions and other events, collaborating across teams.

You will also support audits, contribute to process improvements, and provide timely information to institutional clients while maintaining strong relationships and a focus on accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• 2+ years in Investments or Finance.
• Experience with Bloomberg or trade order management systems.
• Experience with Simcorp Dimension or similar investment accounting system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process investment transactions in OMS and/or investment book of record.
• Reconcile data across OMS, IOR, custodian and accounting systems.
• Handle secondary events such as corporate actions, paydowns, capital calls.
• Maintain client relations by providing timely investment information.
• Support audits and special projects; assist with ad hoc reporting.
• Provide backup for Trusts or other strategies.
