Responsibilities

• Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Investigate operational exceptions, trade breaks, and issues to determine root causes and implement solutions.
• Support daily middle-office activities including cash management, trade support, and client-specific processes.
• Review transactions and documentation for accuracy against policies and SLAs.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on reconciliations, exceptions, and quality control.
• Collaborate with operations, accounting, and client service to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Assist in transitioning legacy processes to standardized platforms and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and contribute to automation initiatives.

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Investment Operations Analyst to join a leading financial services organization supporting critical middle-office operations. In this role, you will play an integral part in ensuring the accuracy of investment activity, resolving operational exceptions, and supporting the efficient processing of financial transactions.

What You’ll Do

• Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Research and investigate operational exceptions, trade breaks, and transaction issues to determine root causes and implement solutions.
• Support daily middle-office activities, including cash management, trade support, and client-specific operational processes.
• Review transactions and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to established policies, procedures, and service-level agreements.
• Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports related to reconciliations, exceptions, and quality control activities.
• Partner with operations, accounting, client service, and other internal teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the transition of legacy processes to standardized platforms, systems, and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and contribute to automation and operational improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in investment operations, middle-office operations, fund operations, securities operations, trade support, or a similar financial services environment.
• Hands-on experience performing cash, position, or trade reconciliations and resolving operational discrepancies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting mutual funds, asset servicing, fund accounting, or investment operations.
• Exposure to process improvement, workflow automation, or operational transformation initiatives.
• Experience with automation or AI-enabled tools within an operational environment.
