Job summary

Morgan Stanley Investment Management's Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship designed to give exposure to Eaton Vance Equity and the Active Fundamental Equity group in Boston, MA. You will work directly with portfolio managers and analysts on research projects and learn to use market data systems.

During the program, you will generate financial analyses, build models from filings, attend meetings, and gain hands-on experience similar to a Full-Time Analyst.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio managers and equity analysts in their daily work.
• Provide basic research on sectors, industries, and companies.
• Attend investment meetings and industry specialist meetings.
• Work on special projects within Eaton Vance Equity.
• Learn to use various market data systems.
• Assist in preparing financial models from filings and public information.
• Extract data from reports to update models.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
