Job summary

Phillips Edison & Company is seeking a Finance Intern to join our Cincinnati, OH office for hands-on experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and investment management. You will work closely with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to support the budget, NOI forecasting, and KPI reporting.

The role requires a current undergraduate student studying Finance, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student enrolled in a Finance degree program and eligible to work full-time in Cincinnati, OH.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Advanced MS Excel modeling skills and strong analytical ability.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills; able to interact with executives and teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting for internal users and investors.
• Assist with NOI and capital forecasting analysis; research variances to budget and prior periods.
• Support budget and forecast processes and update templates.
• Produce financial/operational KPI reports.
• Load and reconcile data between general ledger and forecasting systems.
• Conduct peer/industry/market research as needed.
• Prepare quarterly Board materials.
