Job summary

Phillips Edison & Company seeks a university student for a Construction Internship focused on Pre-Lease and Pre-Construction activities in Cincinnati. You will learn PECO's processes, review leases, assist with bid documentation, and interact with Acquisitions, Due Diligence, Finance, and Leasing teams.

Must be enrolled in a related degree program, proficient in Office, and able to handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a university degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Able to balance multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Conceptual knowledge of construction processes (estimating, purchasing, scheduling) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with Pre-Lease activities and review Tenant Scope of Work with Project Manager.
Prepare bid documents and assist with bid summaries and value engineering opportunities.
Support with scheduling, plan reading, and organizing information for internal and external stakeholders.
Draft concept layouts in CAD and contribute to development opportunities.
Summarize lessons learned and present to the team at internship end.
Record and archive project plans and related documents.
