Permanent Placements LLC is assisting a highly regarded law firm in Seattle seeking an Investment Management Associate with 5-8 years of transactional experience to join its office. The attorney will represent institutional investors in sophisticated investment transactions, including private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, and fund formation matters, while collaborating with a national team known for investment management work.
Candidates must hold a J.D.
Qualifications
- J.D. from ABA-accredited law school required.
- Active license to practice law required.
- 5-8 years of transactional experience in investment management or related areas.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
Responsibilities
- Represent institutional investors in a wide range of investment transactions.
- Advise clients on private equity, hedge fund, venture capital investments and fund formation.
- Review, draft and negotiate sophisticated investment and transaction documents.
- Conduct due diligence and risk analysis on investment opportunities.
- Coordinate with attorneys across practice groups on complex matters.
- Provide practical and strategic advice and maintain strong client relationships.
