Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Investment Funds Associate to join its Investment Funds practice in a multi-location setting (Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; New York, NY).

Candidates should have 2–5 years of PQE in investment funds at a top law firm, with strong fund structuring, regulatory compliance expertise (Reg D, Advisers Act) and excellent drafting and negotiation skills. Admission in NY, IL, or DC (or eligibility to waive in) preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of investment funds experience at a top law firm.
• Strong background in fund structuring, Regulation D, Advisers Act, and related compliance.
• Admission in NY, IL, or DC (or eligibility to waive in).

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate private investment fund documents and side letters
• Advise institutional investors on fund terms and ancillary agreements
• Support clients on fundraising, structuring, and compliance matters
• Collaborate across global offices on cross-border fund issues
