Joseph Michaels International, an international AMLAW 50 firm, seeks Investment Funds Associate Attorneys in its New York office. The role focuses on private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, and hybrid funds, with exposure to retail funds.

Candidates will have a JD from a top-tier school, active bar admission, 3–6 years of investment management and fund formation experience, and strong interpersonal skills. Hybrid work and competitive compensation offered.

INTERNATIONAL AMLAW 50 FIRM has an immediate opening for Investment FundsAssociate Attorneys in their New Yorkoffice.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3-6 years of substantive experience ininvestment managementandfund formation.
• Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is highly advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other types of funds employing alternative investment strategies.
• Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
• Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
• Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
