Job summary

Top Dog Recruiting is assisting an international AMLAW 50 firm in recruiting Investment Funds Associate Attorneys for its New York office. Ideal candidates hold a JD from a top-tier law school with top academic credentials, active bar admission, and 3–6 years in investment management and fund formation.

The role involves representing various funds employing alternative investment strategies, supporting retail funds, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver premier client

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3–6 years of substantive experience in investment management and fund formation.

Responsibilities

• Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other funds employing alternative investment strategies.
• Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
• Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
• Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.

INTERNATIONAL AMLAW 50 FIRM has an immediate opening for Investment FundsAssociate Attorneys in their New Yorkoffice.

Candidate Profile:

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3-6 years of substantive experience ininvestment managementandfund formation.
• Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is highly advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are required.
