Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks Investment Funds Associate Attorneys in our New York office. The role represents private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, and other funds using alternative investment strategies, with direct client engagement and business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials (Top 20% of class).
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3–6 years of substantive experience in investment funds and fund formation.
• Background in private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, hybrid funds, and funds utilizing alternative investment strategies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Represent private equity, hedge, private credit, real estate, hybrid, and other funds employing alternative investment strategies.
• Provide support on matters involving retail alternative funds (BDCs, interval funds, closed-end funds).
• Work closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional legal solutions for clients.
• Contribute to the firm's expanding investment funds practice, directly interacting with clients and supporting business development.
