Job summary
Jobtailor in Boston seeks a data analytics professional to translate investment data needs into models, reports and dashboards across global teams. You will collaborate with Coverage Analysts, Research and Portfolio teams to deliver performance attribution, risk metrics and data solutions, while ensuring governance and scalable automation.
You should have 3–7 years in data analytics or quantitative development within financial services, strong Python, R and SQL skills, and experience with data
Qualifications
- 3-7 years in data analytics, quantitative development or reporting within investment management or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of investment data, portfolio analytics, performance attribution and risk.
- Degree in a quantitative field (math/statistics/CS/data science).
- Proficiency in Python, R and SQL; experience with database platforms.
- Clear communication and ability to collaborate across locations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Coverage Analysts and investment professionals to translate analytical needs into data solutions, models and reporting.
- Source, validate and maintain investment data across platforms and databases.
- Build and maintain quantitative models, dashboards and performance attribution systems.
- Support backtesting, scenario analysis and factor-based research.
- Automate recurring analytical and reporting workflows and deliver risk metrics.
