Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an analytics professional to design, implement, and support finance analytics and reporting. You will collaborate with the Ameriprise Finance Department to understand requirements and deliver reliable insights.

You will automate analytical workflows, model data processes with business and technology teams, and design data storage solutions to support current finance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative fields such as finance, CS, math, or physics.
• 3+ years' experience in analytics or model development.
• Ability to program in Python.
• Familiarity with data management concepts.
• Familiarity with software engineering development and production practices.
• Working understanding of financial concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support analytics and reports across Ameriprise Finance Department
• Assist in the automation of analytical workflows within the Finance Organization
• Partner with business and technology to model analytical workflows and reports within the organization
• Design and implement data storage and retrieval solutions to assist Finance in their current activities
• Analyze performance of analytics and reports
• Investigate unexpected results, for example issues with data quality of inputs
