Job summary

Colorado PERA is seeking a Manager, Investment Data and Business Analysis to lead the department’s data operations, governance, and production support. You will manage a team of Investment Data Stewards and Business Analysts, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and partner with IT, vendors, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes data quality, controls, UAT of new platforms, and promoting data-driven decision-making across Investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in investment data management, production support, investment operations, business analysis, or related functions; 3+ years of experience in a management role.
• Expertise in understanding of investment products, securities, market data, investment accounting, and investment operations workflows.
• Experience with data quality, data governance, issue management, and operational support processes.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and efficiency, proactively identifying opportunities to apply emerging technologies that improve workflows and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Investment Data Stewards and Business Analysts.
• Oversee day-to-day production support activities for investment systems and data platforms.
• Manage resource allocation, workload prioritization, support coverage, and escalation management.
• Oversee the application of business analysis methodologies and translate requirements into data and governance solutions.
• Support implementation and user acceptance testing of new technologies, data platforms, and process improvements.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with internal controls and permissions related to investment data and systems.
