Job summary

Global X Management Company LLC ("Global X") is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Internal Consulting Group in Newark, NJ. The Investment Consultant will be part of a team covering and growing sales with financial advisors at wire houses, independent brokers, and RIAs, driving a consultative, territory-based growth strategy.

Key responsibilities include expanding the client base, executing territory business plans, and identifying new opportunities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required, emphasis on finance or economics preferred.
• Identify and anticipate client needs; make implementable recommendations.
• Enthusiastic team player and self-starter in fast-paced environment.
• Coachable; incorporate feedback into performance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Results oriented and customer-focused.
• Technologically proficient and knowledgeable.
• Strong client relationship management skills; capable of internal collaboration.
• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues, teams, and clients.
• 1–3 years of financial industry or sales experience in business development is a plus.
• Licenses: SIE required; Series 7 and 63/66 preferred if time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing client base and Global X product usage via consultative phone-based approach.
• Develop and execute a thoughtful territory business plan.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead lists.
• Exceed client-focused activity standards (calls, emails, web presentations).
• Demonstrate proficiency in product knowledge, industry trends, portfolio construction, and capital markets.
• Partner with colleagues across the firm to deliver an exceptional client experience.
